A Haunting End to October

Are you ready for Halloween?

Yes, I know we're not quite to Halloween just yet, but close enough. I've already been through one batch of candy, though I mailed most of it to my son at college, and I replenished the supply last night. Why, oh why, do I always buy the stuff I can't resist?

Other than snacking my way through 3Musketeers, Snickers, Reese's cups and M&M's, I have two promo events to distract me from getting ready for NaNoWriMo (friend me! I'm signed up as SheaM again this year!).

The first has been running a week now, and is in tribute to Breast Cancer Awareness. In association with Romance in the Backseat, I'm taking part in a CupCake Give Away. You can check it out at RITBSs Naughty in the Backseat. Lots of great prizes including free ebooks! You could win a copy of one of mine. Be sure to check it out. It ends tomorrow, Friday, Oct 30.

Also running tomorrow, Halloween Hottie Blog Hop! Start at the beginning, and work your way through. I haven't decided exactly which book I'll give away, but I will by the time the hop starts, so play along and see some hotties on the way! I have a very hot hottie to post, so be sure to make it to The Morgan Diaries!

As for Halloween itself... well, it's all about the candy this year! Yes, I really do plan on giving it away to the little ghosts and goblins brave enough to make it to my front door. What do you do for Halloween? Dress up? Party? Go out Trick or Treating? Right I'm trying to talk my husband into going below the house to get out our 4 ft spider to hang off the trellis along the walkway...

Happy Haunting!

I'll have to drag the kiddos to town for trick-or-treating. Girlie is going with crutches and bandages... she's going to be "broken". Boy still isn't decided. LOL. I thought he should dress in black and carry a push broom around, call himself "The Grim Sweeper". He's not going for it, so I might do it myself. :)

LOL!! We love Halloween around here....I just love to get all dressed up!!! And we're known for our creative ideas!! In the past I've dressed as a package of Smarties, Mother Nature (I was pregnant!), Madonna (White lace gloves, bustier and all), Dancing with the Stars Champions. This year is another fun one...hubby insisted on being Ralphie from A Christmas Story...pink bunny suit and all. (Yeah...but guess who was sitting at the sewing machine for days???) I will be the Leg Lamp. Costume is so darn adorable!! The lampshade is a dress!

Off to get youngest son from the airport soon, but his only interest in Halloween is the hope that I won't give all the candy away.
